Hargreaves Lansdown plc (LON:HL) confirms that Adrian Collins, a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of HL, has been appointed to the Board of LSL Property Services plc as Non-Executive Chairman with immediate effect.
Mr. Collins has worked in asset management for more than 50 years, most recently at Liontrust Asset Management where he was Executive Chairman from 2009 to 2019. During that time, he oversaw a transformation of the business, expanding its investment and distribution and capabilities and making numerous acquisitions.
Mr Collins has extensive experience in fund management and adjacent sectors, having held senior roles at Gartmore, where he was CEO, Trustnet (which he co-founded), Jupiter, Bestinvest and Lazard Investors. He is an experienced non-executive director. Adrian Collins has been appointed to the HL Board of Directors as a shareholder representative and is therefore not considered independent.
