Online broker eToro has announced the appointment of Inès de Dinechin as a Special Advisor to the business in France.

Inès de Dinechin will advise eToro as the company looks to strengthen its position in the French market. He will work alongside eToro’s management team and the local French team led by Emmanuel Sackman to support the company’s growth strategy.

Inès de Dinechin joins a global roster of advisors that includes Lord Stanley Fink, Chris Giancarlo and Salomon Sredni.

Commenting on the appointment, CEO and co-founder of eToro Group, Yoni Assia, said:

Inès de Dinechin has over 30 years of experience in the European financial sector. She brings with her extensive experience in both financial markets and regulatory affairs, having served as CEO and Chairman of Lyxor Asset Management and CEO of Aviva Investors France. Her significant non-executive board experience includes serving on the boards and advisory boards of a number of regulated and unregulated companies, including her role as Vice-President of the French Asset Management Association, where she also chaired the Financial Education Committee.
