As e-trading major Interactive Brokers continues to expand its ongoing support for translation/localization, it announces that its Client Portal now supports Portuguese.
Also fixed several bugs. For example, the issue where in the wide CP layout the price axis of the full page price chart was partially covered when the sidecar order ticket is opened has been resolved.
Merchants can now adjust the duration of inactivity before automatic disconnection.
Client Portal automatically logs you out after 15 minutes of inactivity. You can now change this duration and allow a session to remain active for 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes of inactivity.
To change the idle time until logout, from the Welcome Avatar menu, find the Logout after inactivity command and click the current time period. Select a new duration and Save.
Note that when the idle time is up, the broker will give you the option to stay logged in. This offer will be displayed for 30 seconds and if not taken, you will be logged out.
Interactive Brokers recently redesigned the Customer Portal Order Ticket.
The Customer Portal Order Ticket now uses a landscape instead of a portrait layout that adapts better to different screen sizes. The new layout also helps users avoid having to scroll up and down to find fields as they create an order.
Portrait orientation is still available from the “Quick” order ticket displayed on the right side of the Customer Portal interface.
Order Ticket changes are also available in the Advisor Portal, along with support for Advisor Allocations.
