The Committee of Companies and Exchange of Italy (CONSOB) ordered the exclusion of access to eight unauthorized investment websites.
The entities targeted by the latest orders are:
- PIM MTF Markets Limited (www.pimmtf.vip, www.pimcmtf.vip, www.pimmtf.ai and www.pimmtf.ltd).
- “Peaktradeoption” (website
- “Stockwisse” (website www.stockwisse.co and related page
- “Finanza Expert” (website and related pages and
- “Stetrading” (website
When issuing the commands, the Authority used the powers derived from “Decto Crescita” (“Development Decree”, converted by Law No 58 of June 28, 2019).
The number of websites blocked since July 2019, when Consob took power to order that fraudulent financial intermediaries will be black, thus increased to 1,336. Last week, the regulator ordered the exclusion of access to 11 unauthorized websites.
The application of the black area of these sites by Internet service providers continues. For technical reasons, it may take several days for the exclusion to come into force.
