Capita PLC’s Board of Directors has reviewed its constitution to ensure that it continues to be appropriate and has agreed that it will consist of seven directors, consisting of the Chairman, two Executive Directors and four Independent Non-Executive Directors.
As a consequence of this decision, the Board of Directors announces that Janine Goodchild will step down as Chief Personnel Officer effective December 31, 2023. Ms. Goodchild was appointed Chief Personnel Officer on July 1, 2022.
The Board is considering how it will meet its ongoing obligations under the UK Code of Corporate Governance in relation to its engagement with colleagues and will ensure that these are appropriate for Capita as a purpose-led organisation.
Janine Goodchild is a registered adult nurse and lead clinical trainer in the Capita team assessing personal independence payment claims on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions. She joined Capita in January 2016. Her previous experience includes working in the banking industry in corporate transactions, asset reconciliations and employee training and development.
