Miami International Holdings, Inc. announced today that Kelly Brown has joined the firm as Senior Vice President of Derivatives and Business Development for MIAX Futures.
In this new position, Mr. Brown will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with futures traders, brokers and clearing members in the global futures industry.
Mr. Brown joins MIAX after serving as Senior Director, Head of Derivatives for Gemini Trust Company, where he managed the creation of its trading platform. Mr. Brown also served as Chief Commercial Officer at FairX where he led the exchange’s global top line revenue generation as well as product and parts marketing. Prior to FairX, he was a Managing Director at CME Group, managing a global team responsible for strategic bank, broker and retail relationships. Prior to CME, he held senior leadership roles at Bank of America and Cargill Investor Services.

Mr. Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Loyola University Chicago and a master’s degree in financial markets and commerce from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
