The US Crypt Exchange Body announced that it is now alive in all 30 countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) in its markets to encryption regulation (MICA)-an important milestone that expands the safe, compliant cryptographic offer to millions of people.
All EEA customers are now directly served directly by Kraken’s entity, authorized by the Central Bank of Ireland. This Go-Live represents the complete activation of the MICA license, allowing the company to provide services throughout the area under a single, unified regulatory framework.
MICA introduces consistent standards throughout the EU for consumer protection, business transparency and regulatory supervision. For Kraken customers, it provides additional assurance that the trust platform operates in accordance with one of the most powerful encryption regulations in the world.
Here is what this means for Kraken customers across the EEA:
- Passport of regulated services in all 30 EEA countries
- Access to over 450 digital assets, with continuous extension
- Quick and easy support for boarding and local funding
- Commercial Trade Services, including OTC, including OTC
- Protection across the EU based on marble for greater transparency and security
This expansion is based on Kraken’s broader regulatory institution in Europe. The company’s Mifid license allows us to offer adjustable derivatives to all EU markets to advanced traders, while EMI’s license supports Fiat -related services and payments throughout the area.
Together, these licenses allow Kraken to provide fully adjustable experience with consistency and confidence throughout the EU.
Kraken added that she is excited to serve her European customers under the Mica and continue to build the safest, innovative and reliable platform in the industry.
