Vienna, based on Austria, the Bitpanda encryption exchange body announced that Paul Klanschek has decided to move away from his daily role as CEO of the company and take on a new role as a member of the Board of Directors. In this role, it will continue to help guide Bitpanda’s long -term strategic direction, while returning from business responsibilities.

The company said this change is a natural next step for both Paul and Bitpanda, reflecting the company’s evolution from a bold Mire Startup in a decade ago to an adjustable financial institution that trusts more than 7 million users. Bitpanda’s next chapter is based on the same business spirit, but is now reinforced by deep experience, stable leadership and long -term vision for Europe’s digital economic infrastructure.

Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad, today’s deputy chief executive, will now assume the role of CEO with Eric Demuth, maintaining the double leadership structure of Bitpanda. Lucas has contributed to the development of Bitpanda since 2018, helping to format the strategy, scale businesses and building strong regulatory foundations.

Paul Klanschek, co -founder of Bitpanda, said,

“When we started Bitpanda 10 years ago, it wasn’t just for encryption. It was for access. We thought the investment should be simple, safe and accessible to everyone-and we built it now, it’s time for a new chapter.

What will follow?

As a founding team, Paul, Eric and Christian started Bitpanda with a clear mission: to abolish financial obstacles and make the investment accessible to everyone. This mission remains unchanged and Bitpanda continues to grow rapidly in B2C and B2B companies, and extends full compliance with regulatory compliance across the EU and the United Kingdom.

Eric Demuth, co-founder and co-director, said,

“Paul’s vision and energy have helped to develop Bitpanda in what it is today, while this marks the end of a chapter, not goodbye, Paul will continue to form the future of the business by the Board of Directors.

Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad (depicted above), incoming co-veto, added,

“I am proud to take on this role and continue what Paul, Eric and Christian started. Bitpanda is unique to lead to Europe and beyond and our mission remains the same. “

Bitpanda said he would like to thank Paul for everything he has built and for the vision he would continue to guide Bitpanda for the coming years.
