Fintech company MetaQuotes has updated its MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform for Android-based tablet devices.
The platform now comes with a completely redesigned interface for the tablet versions. It now has a modern design, already proven in the iOS and web versions of the platform. The main sections are now at the bottom of the screen and the displayed chart operation commands are available on the left.
Other improvements include:
- Added context menu to the position history section, allowing quick access to the trading dialog or chart of the corresponding symbol.
- Hidden command switch to trading dialog for non-tradable symbols.
- Fixed working with MetaQuotes-Demo server.
On June 21, 2024, MetaTrader 5 Platform build 4410 was released, with a number of performance improvements.
MetaTrader 5 client terminal
- Terminal: Fixed terminal crash that could occur when starting the test under certain conditions.
- MQL5: Fixed the behavior of the MQL_PROGRAM_NAME property for service applications. The property could return an incorrect service instance.
MetaTrader 5 Web Terminal
- Fixed browser compatibility validation with web terminal. In some cases, users may have accidentally received a message indicating that their browser is not supported.
- Fixed opening test accounts.
- Minor fixes and improvements.
The update is available through the Live Update system.
