Fintech company MetaQuotes has recently upgraded its entire MQL5 Cloud Network infrastructure to improve its performance.

Added new servers and upgraded existing ones for better agent registration and job distribution. The network now operates through seven locations located around the world. Improved load balancing enables more efficient management and distribution of tasks. Optimized geographic coverage has reduced network latency during calculations.

Total network bandwidth increased to 60 Gbps. The network ensures fast transmission of data between traders and agents performing tasks. The bandwidth of each network node is displayed next to its name in the strategy controller.

Improved history cache. With the optimized “hot cache” on the servers, agents receive the required test data faster, which in turn speeds up the overall testing process for merchants.

Slow factors have been excluded. The network no longer accepts agents running on virtualized systems. This restriction was introduced to avoid computation slowdowns caused by dishonest participants.

Currently, the network includes about 50,000 fast and active agents, allowing very complex and time-consuming calculations to be performed efficiently. You can even conduct scientific research using the strategy controller’s special fast math function and OpenCL support.

Since its launch, the MQL5 Cloud Network has completed more than 16 billion tasks. This figure shows how many times users have tested their trading strategies. Every day, the network enables algorithmic traders to perform calculations on tens of thousands of computers worldwide with just a few clicks, without having to wait for results on a local machine.
