Nomura Asset Management Co., Ltd., the basic company in the Nomura Group Investment Management Department and Nomura Asset Management Taiwan Ltd. Plans have announced today to launch new ETFs on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) and the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) on September 18, 2025.

This will be the first intersection of ETFs in Japan and Taiwan and will provide its customers in Japan and mutual access to Taiwan in each capital market, differentiating and expanding investment opportunities.

Nomura Asset Management will launch a new ETF called “Next Funds Tiptet Taiwan Innovative Technology 50 Index Exchange Traged Fund in Japan.

The indicator that these new ETF monitoring selects companies that create the majority of their revenue from the technology sector and liquidity tests, as well as the standards for the disclosure of size and information. The index selects further eligible reserves based on indicators such as R&D innovation, shares pricing and profitability and then selects the top 50 stocks in accordance with their market capitalization.

The index reflects the performance of a portfolio that invests in the continuously innovative technological sector.

At the same time, Nomura Asset Management Taiwan will launch a new ETF called “Next Funds – Nomura Topix Feeder Etf” designed to monitor Topix’s Taiwan performance, providing its Taiwan customers access to Topix ETF, the largest ETF in Japanese Asset Management.
