Canadian fintech company Nuvei Corporation (TSX:NVEI) has partnered with Microsoft to deliver leading payment experiences to customers of its products, solutions and services in many of its key markets.
Microsoft will begin using Nuvei’s customizable and flexible payments technology in the Middle East and Africa region, while leveraging Nuvei’s deep knowledge of local markets to optimize its payments for recurring charges and one-off transactions across both the series Office products as well as Xbox.
Other benefits of Nuvei’s global payments capabilities leveraged by Microsoft include optimized authorization rates through local acquisition and superior risk management that minimize false deductions, as well as Nuvei’s ability to offer all relevant local alternative payment methods (APMs) in each market through a single market integration.
Philip Fayer, President and CEO of Nuvei said:
“Microsoft’s ability to connect with its customers across a wide range of products is a testament to our technology and dedication to world-class customer service. We’re excited to streamline payments for such a universal brand that so many people trust and rely on.”
“We are pleased to expand our payments solutions to the Middle East and Africa region,” added Ajith Thekadath, Vice President of Global Payments at Microsoft. “Whether it’s a one-time purchase, software subscription or in-game purchase, payments are critical to our overall customer experience. Working with Nuvei enables our customers to pay wherever they are and whenever they want.”
Nuvei and Microsoft are committed to expanding this partnership into additional markets, as well as exploring new use cases to enhance the overall Microsoft experience. This includes Microsoft Dynamics 365, the business application technology suite that increases operational efficiency and improved management of enterprise resources.
