Nuvei Corporation announced its partnership with Volkswagen Brazil today to launch a complete payment solution for connected vehicles in Brazil.

This collaboration allows Volkswagen to provide subsidies based on subscriptions through an integrated application to the VW Play Connect multimedia system, which debuted on the new Nivus in 2024 and is already available for the new T-Cross and New Tera in 2025.

The application offers a variety of features, ranging from vehicles and remote commands in information on maintenance and financing of vehicles. Nuvei’s customized payment infrastructure allows for seamless repetitive payments that cover both VW’s connected car services and data packages from telecommunications providers.

The collaboration represents an important step forward in connected vehicle technology, with Nuvei developing an entire complex infrastructure that allows payment to be processed for application services. The refined pay architecture developed by Nuvei incorporates many service providers into a consolidated flow of payment, creating a seamless experience for brand customers. Volkswagen will take advantage of Nuvei’s worldwide range to escalate the solution to additional markets, especially in Latin America.

Phil Fayer, President and CEO of Nuvei, commented:

“We are incredibly proud of this collaboration with Volkswagen. As a payment technology provider, we want to be a true partner to our customers and this collaboration indicates that it enhances the strengthening of their customers’ relationships through Seamless experiences.
