Scope Prime, the offshore institutional liquidity division of Rostro Financial Group, has announced the appointment of FX and CFDs industry veteran Andrew Taylor to lead the firm’s APAC division. With over 30 years of industry experience, Andrew will aim to build an operational presence and grow Scope Prime’s market share in the Asia Pacific region.
Andrew will be based in Sydney, with an initial focus on establishing the regional office, while also leading Scope Prime’s liquidity portfolio.
Andrew Taylor has spent the last two years as Managing Director of ACY Connect, the premier services arm of Australia’s leading retail broker ACY Securities. Prior to ACY, Andrew was Managing Director at IC Markets. He also held senior management positions at OneRoyal, Invast Global, GFT Markets, Easy Forex (now easyMarkets), Travelex, Tullett Prebon and Westpac.
Daniel Lawrance, Managing Director of Scope Prime, commented:
“Combining Andrew’s wealth of industry knowledge with our dynamic product set means we are well-positioned to expand our institutional reach into the fast-growing APAC markets. The Scope Markets brand is already well-known to retail investors across much of the region, but Andrew will be instrumental in building the Group’s presence and helping deliver our high-quality solutions to banks, brokerage firms and other institutional counterparties in the region.” .
Andrew Taylor commented on his new role at Scope Prime:
“I am delighted to be joining the talented ranks of the Rostro Group and look forward to consolidating and growing the Scope brand and its offering in the Asia Pacific region. The company’s innovative way of providing competitive liquidity to such a diverse range of markets addresses clients’ recurring need for comprehensive access to multiple assets from a single provider. As the demand for these services in APAC markets grows rapidly, supporting it with a physical presence will no doubt help consolidate Scope’s position in the region.”
