The margin amount for Gold and Platinum futures contracts (Gold Standard Futures, Platinum Standard Futures, Gold Mini Futures and Platinum Futures) on the Osaka Exchange, Inc. (OSE) increases significantly.
The change reflects the rapid fluctuation in their prices of late.
The amount of margin per contract, effective from open positions at the end of tomorrow’s daily session, will be 1,049,000 yen for gold standard futures and 295,000 yen for platinum standard futures.
The Exchange warns that margin amounts may continue to increase depending on market trends and asks market participants to take this into account when conducting their trades.
