The New York Financial Ministry of Financial Services (DFS) has published in an update on the status of Pay-O-Matic.
Pay-O-Matic will reopen positions in coordination with Western Union. Suspension of the license has been lifted.
DFS notice says:
‘Notice about Payatomal
Pay-O-Matic, provider of money control and transmission services, will reopen positions in coordination with Western Union.
On September 13, the section suspended the pay-o-match license after the activities were ceased. The department has uploaded this suspension and approved reopening sites under this arrangement, while Pay-O-Matic and Western Union work through possible acquisition.
