FNG has learned that long-time FX industry executive Petros Kalaitzis has joined Malta-based trading products firm FunderPro as the firm’s new Chief Strategy Officer (CSO).
Petros Kalaitzis joins FunderPro after spending the last two years with broker technology provider Tools for Brokers, as CEO and head of the Tools for Brokers office in Cyprus. He was previously Chief Experience Officer at NAGA Group, Head Of Client Services at Tickmill and Manager – Retail and Corporate Sales at Saxo Bank Cyprus, after starting his career in the forex industry as a Dealer at eToro in 2012.
Petros also has some experience in the trading world, working briefly in a senior management role at The Trading Pit in 2022, before joining Tools for Brokers.
FunderPro is part of a group of fintech companies that includes broker-as-a-service and support-as-a-service technology company Netrios and IT-for-brokers services company Red Acre, both of which are led by its former CEO BDSwiss Nicolas Shamtanis. Other brands in the group include TradeLocker, Zeply, Cryptopanic and Cryptochill.
