Taskize, a provider of business-to-business workflow in the financial services industry, announced today that its CEO, Philip Slavin, has decided to step down.
James Pike, currently Head of Business Development, has been appointed as interim CEO to provide leadership continuity at Taskize. A search process has begun to appoint a permanent successor to the role.
Taskize, which is wholly owned by Euroclear, is an online platform designed for fast and efficient resolution of issues between counterparties.
Mr. Slavin founded the company 12 years ago with John O’Hara and during his tenure as CEO, the Taskize network has nearly doubled to 600 customers operating from 88 countries. Through the efforts of the Smart Adoption campaign, Taskize now ranks above email and phone with 98% customer satisfaction among Euroclear’s premium customers. The platform also supports a growing number of non-Euroclear workflows.
Antonio Queiroz, Chief Digital Officer, Euroclear and President of Taskize said:
“I would like to sincerely thank Philip for his energy and leadership not only as CEO of Taskize but as co-founder of this innovative solution. He has worked tirelessly to establish Taskize as Euroclear’s preferred customer service channel. His passion, enthusiasm and customer focus have been the driving force behind making Taskize’s vision of becoming a single platform for the complete optimization of workflow solutions across the industry a reality.”
Philippe Laurensy, Head of Product, Strategy and Innovation, Euroclear added:
“Taskize is a market leader in its space and is fully aligned with our group’s strategy of creating efficiency through innovation for market growth. We look forward to continuing to support the next phase of Taskize’s development story, which is to further align our cross-company workflows and ecosystem with Euroclear’s data-enabled services strategy. This will enable us to offer our customers and the wider community a world-class platform to deliver reliable information to improve operational efficiency and control.”
