The Board of Directors of PostFinance has appointed Beat Röthlisberger as the new CEO of PostFinance.

The business administration graduate has rich management experience. His career in finance began at Swiss Bank Corporation (SBC) in Basel in 1992. He held various roles at SBC and UBS Basel until 2015, including Deputy Regional Head of Corporate Clients and Deputy Head of Credit Risk Management. Since July 2017, he has led BLKB’s Corporate Banking Advisory business unit and is a member of the Executive Board, assuming the additional role of Deputy CEO in August 2021.

Beat Röthlisberger will take over the operational management of PostFinance on 1 July 2024, subject to regulatory approval. He replaces Hansruedi Köng, who will step down at the end of February 2024 after 12 years as CEO.

From March until the end of June, Kurt Fuchs will be interim CEO of PostFinance. He will then return to his usual role as CFO.
