Today, Robinhood has removed all eligible customers from the waiting list and Robinhood is now officially available across the UK.
With Robinhood, customers simply get more for their money, no commissions and no FX fees to trade, access to over 6,000 global companies listed on US markets, and more.
The broker is also launching support for several new features today, including web support, signup rewards and a referral program for friends and family.
“We’ve been actively collecting feedback and engaging with customers since our waitlist launched late last year and we’re so encouraged by the reception we’ve received so far,” said Jordan Sinclair, President of Robinhood UK. “Today’s general availability marks the start of a new chapter for Robinhood, and we’re excited to continue challenging the status quo by providing more local products and services that resonate with our customers and meet their needs.”
To complement today’s launch, the company has created a contemporary statue of Robin Hood, which will appear across London’s financial district over the coming days to represent the upheaval of the status quo.
