Mr Forrester joined the Standard Chartered five years ago and is currently co-head, head of risk, corporate and investment banking. He will be based in London and will be directly reported to the team’s CEO Bill Winters and become a member of the group management team.

He has previously worked at Credit Suisse for 21 years in a variety of superior risk management and funding roles in America, Europe and Asia and has extensive experience in financial and non -financial risk alongside customer experience.

Mr Forrester replaces Sadia Ricke, who decided to leave the team. Sadia Ricke is expected to leave at the end of this year after a period of transition to secure a smooth tradition. Sadia will remain at Standard Chartered Bank US Committee Risk OS as a non -executive director, subject to the approval of regulatory arrangements.

Bill Winters, Managing Director of the team, said:

“Jason’s appointment depicts both the power of our bench and the quality of succession planning. His time spent with the model has been chartered means that he already has a full knowledge of our business markets and imprints and shares our commitment to execute our strategy and drive.

At the same time, I would like to thank SADIA for its significant contribution to driving an approach focused on the customer, with the awareness of risk and navigation in a complex and uncertain external environment. He was also a passionate champion to promote our varied and comprehensive culture. ”
