Investor’s Social Platform StockTwits and Trader announced the appointment of his former Meta Rob Shaw executive as Managing Director (COO), citing co -founder and Managing Director Howard Lindzon.

Bringing decades of experience in building and escalating digital media platforms, it joins warehouses at a central moment, as traditional economic media are struggling with the transition from television to digital, creating important opportunities for digital indigenous platforms to record the market. Shaw will provide strategic leadership in the development of products and community initiatives, while promoting the evolution of the capabilities of stocktwits.

Rob Shaw has spent almost a decade at Meta, where he was director of global sports partnerships, a leadership athletic strategy on all Meta platforms. Shaw has contributed to the development of Facebook’s sporting videos, introducing live flow and rollers throughout the media industry. It also led the first Facebook athletic sponsorship between Meta Quest and the National Basketball Association and implemented the strategy of acquiring Facebook’s sports content with Fox Sports, CBS Sports and the Major League Baseball, among others world sports properties.

Rob Shaw recently launched the Chicago Sports Network (CHSN), the official Bulls broadcasting body, Blackhawks and White Sox. As head of revenue, he led the sales, strategy, research, product and digital media services. Within four months of the start, Chsn has driven regional sports networks to consumption and commitment to social and digital platforms.
