
The top Swissquote Swiss and Banking Company (SWX: SQN) has announced that its shareholders have voted in favor of all moves at the 2025 General Assembly, including the appointment of a new manager.
At today’s common general meeting of the Swissquote Group Holding Ltd, shareholders voted in favor of all the proposals proposed by the Board of Directors. Specifically, the shareholders approved:
- The distribution of a CHF 6.00 dividend. This will be paid on May 14, 2025.
- The election of Hans-Rudolf Köng as a new member of the Board of Directors. Hans-Rudolf Köng has spent 21 years with the transfer, one of the top Switzerland financial institutions, serving as Postfinance’s chief executive from 2012-2024.
- The re-election of today’s members of the Board of Directors, namely Markus Dennler (President), Jean-Christophe Pernollet, Monica Dell’anna, Michael Ploog, Paolo Buzzi, Demetra Kalogerou and Esther Finidori. Monica dell’anna, Paolo Buzzi and Hans-Rudolf Kéng were elected respectively as members of the remuneration committee.
- Swissquote’s viability report for 2024, which serves as a report on non -financial issues in accordance with the Swiss Code of Liability.
- The modification of the statutes associated with the renewal of the capital band.
Markus Dennler, Chairman of Swissquote’s Board of Directors, said,
