Leading Swiss online banking and brokerage firm Swissquote has announced that it has appointed Jan De Schepper as the new CEO of digital financial application Yuh, effective immediately. Swissquote gained full control of Yuh earlier this year, buying PostFinance’s 50% stake in the company.
Markus Schwab, Yuh’s previous CEO, stepped down from his position in early August 2025 to pursue a new challenge.
Jan De Schepper, 49, has been with Swissquote since 2015, most recently as a member of the Executive Board and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. He assumes command of Yuh with immediate effect. He will also remain on Swissquote’s Executive Board, continuing to lead the company’s product and marketing strategy.
The CEO of Swissquote said,
“I would like to warmly thank Markus Schwab for his excellent work at Yuh. Under his leadership, Yuh has quickly become the most successful digital finance app. I am delighted to start the next phase of development at Yuh with Jan De Schepper. In his dual role, he will optimally coordinate the future product development of Swissquote and Yuh. This will allow us to further integrate the Yuh brand.”
