The Securities and Exchange Commission of Hong Kong (SFC) today warned the public about suspicious investment products called ‘Eternity.inc forex packages’ offered by Eternity Prime Limited.
The products have not been approved by the SFC for offer to the Hong Kong public and are suspected of breaching the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO). The SFC also noted that the products claim very high annual returns of 36-84%.
The SFC published the products and related information on the Suspicious Investment Product Alert List on 12 January 2024.
The regulator warns the public not to invest in investment products that are not approved by the SFC. As these products are not regulated by the SFC, their investors have no or very limited protection and may lose all their investments. The SFC once again reminds the public to be cautious and skeptical of “too-good-to-be-true” investment opportunities and to remain vigilant when making investment decisions.
The SFC will take all appropriate action where there is any breach of the law.
