The London Stock Exchange has informed clients of its intention to stop publishing FTSE index data via the London Stock Exchange Group Ticker Plant (GTP).
The London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) currently makes a subset of the FTSE indices available to clients who subscribe to the GTP “O” channel.
Providing FTSE index data to GTP is a legacy service. The service only covers a subset of the FTSE indices and data is published during GTP business hours. As part of LSE’s commitment to ensuring its customers have access to the most comprehensive and resilient data services available, the Exchange has taken the decision to streamline its data offerings.
With effect from Monday 13 January 2025, FTSE index data will no longer be published on GTP.
Customers who require continuous access to FTSE index data should subscribe to an alternative data source, either directly from FTSE or through a market data supplier.
