Tradeweb Markets Inc. (Nasdaq: tw), a world -wide online market for rates, credit, shares and money markets, he announced today that he has appointed Rich Chun as Managing Director, head of Asia.
Based in Hong Kong, Mr Chun will oversee Tradeweb’s business, customer dedication efforts and strategic growth initiatives in the Asia -Pacific region.
An experienced fixed income investor and a negotiation leader, Mr Chun brings more than three decades of experience to world markets and a deep understanding of the way in which the institutions are transferred. Reported to Enrico Bruni and Troy Dixon, co-head of the world markets, Mr Chun will work closely with both regional and world products and sales groups to expand Tradeweb’s imprint across Asia.

Recently, Mr. Chun served as HPS Investment Partners CEO and Portfolio Manager, where he founded the office of Hong Kong’s company. Previously, he was a portfolio manager at Claren Road Asset Management, where he helped to form the business’s strategy in the area. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years on Citigroup in various commercial roles, including the head of credit transactions for Asia.
