Tradeweb Markets Inc. (Nasdaq: tw), a worldwide online market for rates, credit, shares and monetary markets, Sherry Marcus’s appointment today as head of artificial intelligence (AI) announced.
Based on the powerful Tradeweb Foundation used by AI to enhance the discovery of prices, selection and detailed representatives, Ms Marcus will lead Tradeweb’s next generation of strategy that serves more than 3,000 institutional, wholesale, retail consulting and corporate customers. In this global role, he will report to the head of Tradeweb Justin Peterson’s technology.
Mrs Marcus is part of Tradeweb by Amazon Web Services, where she led the science team and 300 people behind Amazon Bedrock, the company’s AI genetic platform that serves hundreds of thousands of business customers. Previously, he was Managing Director, Data and AI in Blackrock, creating an AI world office and driving the Leadership & Transformation AI team. Prior to this role, Mrs Marcus held various higher positions in all financial services, including the service as head of Millennium Partners and Global Head, Big Data Analytics at Credit Suisse.

Ms Marcus is Vice -President and sits on the New York Mit Club Board. It is also located on the Board of Directors of the Allen Brain Institute of the Carnegie Mellon Computational Finance funding department and acts as a consultant to the NYC Gen AI Council. Previously, he was a member of the NSA Advisory Council and the Science Council at the National Center for Terrorism.
Ms Marcus received her bachelor in applied mathematics from Cornell University and Ph.D. In mathematics from MIT.
