Visa (NYSE:V), a global provider of digital payments, today announced that it has joined the AWS Partner Network (APN), a global community that leverages AWS technologies, programs, expertise and tools to build solutions and services for customers.
Visa’s presence at APN will help its partners and customers, including cloud-native fintechs, access and integrate select Visa services more efficiently.
Visa will make select payment services available on the AWS Marketplace, which has more than 300,000 customers worldwide and thousands of software listings.
One of the first services to become available is Visa Cross-Border Solutions, which help streamline the process of sending and receiving money globally and holding multiple currencies. This strategic positioning will allow Visa customers to integrate solutions like Visa Cross-Border Solutions into their business operations – eliminating the need to exit their established platforms.
“Visa is committed to better serving our customers in cloud environments, so we’re excited to bring Visa Cross-Border Solutions to the AWS market,” said Vanessa Colella, Global Head of Innovation and Digital Partnerships, Visa. “We aim to make our solutions easily accessible and available to customers to easily integrate across platforms. This is a further step in our wider commitment to reduce challenges for financial institutions and businesses.”
Through AWS, Visa plans to bring more of its products to customers operating in the cloud. Companies looking to process payments through AWS on VisaNet, Visa’s global processing network, can already establish secure AWS Privatelink connectivity with Visa Cloud Connect.
