
Western Union has announced the appointment of Vince TALLENT as a senior vice -president, head of Asia -Pacific.

TALLENT joins Western Union from Tiqmo, an innovative fintech application in Saudi Arabia that serves clients throughout the Middle East and North Africa. He joined Tiqmo initially as a team COO and CFO, eventually became CEO in 2022.
Before Tiqmo, TALLENT held senior leadership positions in the leading companies Fintech and TMT in Asia -Pacific, the Middle East and Europe, where it led to transformation strategies that led to growth and innovation.
“The leadership and different experience of Vince in escalating technology-based financial services will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our position in Asia-Pacific,” said Giovanni Angelini, Western Union president for Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. “Its proven history in driving business excellence and business development will help us to make the most of the market potential of the region, expand our offers and offer innovative solutions to our customers.”

Vince Tallent holds MBA in the advanced financial and corporate strategy from Kingston University in London, where he was also awarded an honorary doctorate for his excellent contributions to business, entrepreneurship and charity. He is also a partner of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in London.
