Digital Infrastructure Company Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX) announced today the appointment of Dr. Yanbing Li on the Equinix Board of Directors.
LI is currently working as head of product in Datadog, where it drives the team responsible for escalating the Datadog product portfolio to better meet the needs of its worldwide customers and to lead to business development.
“Yanbing is a proven technology and business leader with deep know -how at AI, Cloud, Enterprise Software and world businesses,” said Charles Meyers, Equinix’s executive president. “It brings a proven history of innovation and execution, manufacturing products with a top market and escalating billions of dollars in several of the world’s leading technology companies.
Prior to joining Datadog, Li was the senior vice president of Engineering in Aurora, the first company to launched public truck truck services in the US, where it led all software development efforts for the company’s autonomous driving product.
Before Aurora, as Vice President of Products and Engineers on Google, Li was responsible for multiple Google Cloud product sectors, including Google Cloud Commerce and Cloud features. Before joining Google, Li served as a senior vice -president and general manager for the VMware storage and availability.
Lee previously served on the Board of Directors for Aveva and the Neophotic.
Holds Ph.D. A degree from Princeton University in Electrical and Computer Engineering, as well as a postgraduate degree from Cornell University in Electrical and Computer Engineering. He completed Stanford’s Executive Program at the Stanford Graduate Business School in 2014.
