Online trading major Interactive Brokers recently introduced new features and services to help advisors on its platform.
- Message Center improvements for Registered Investment Advisors, Family Group Advisors and Hedge Fund Advisors:
New features include the Sub Account Messages tab, an improved folder structure to help differentiate message types, improved grouping and categorization of messages, searches and filters to quickly find messages.
- Security Officer Authorizer Updates:
Interactive Brokers has improved the process of updating the number of required Security Officers on an account, allowing you to complete the change request directly on the Portal.
On the Account Inheritance page, customers will see all configured beneficiaries, be able to make any changes (adds, percentage changes) and submit changes during a single session.
- Improved interface for custom indexes:
The platform has simplified the process of managing and investing in Custom Indexes, which allow advisors to quickly build portfolios based on popular ETF Indexes and easily customize them to serve clients’ investment goals.
